It is a bit far from the center of tourism, but it's easily accessible by train or bus. The facilities were kept very clean. I visited in mid-May, and I thought the bedding was just right. There is a supermarket nearby, so you can save on food expenses by cooking for yourself or using frozen meals. It is important to note that there is a charge for baggage storage before and after check-in.
Thank you so much for the kind words, we are looking forward to welcoming you again😊 Best wishes, your Wombat's Naschmarkt Team

+First of all, I'll leave a review of the walking tour. The English-speaking tour guide, Uncle Charles, explains everything well and provides kind guidance. Starting from the market in front of the accommodation, he takes you around famous architectural sites and various spots in the city while entertainingly explaining the related history and culture, stories of Austrians, and recommending food and restaurants. I wanted to give many tips since I got to know Vienna, Austria, where I came for the first time in my life, but I was so sorry for not having cash as I arrived the night before and went out in the morning. 🥲 He has a lot of experience leading tours and explains well to questions like an expert, so I highly recommend joining if you can speak English. I wish Uncle Charles good health and hope he continues his tours for a long time! You don't need to sign up separately; anyone can participate by going to the lobby at the right time! This is a hostel chain that has branches in several European countries. It's a great place to experience the local hostel atmosphere. I booked it because I wanted to experience the mingling atmosphere of a cheap hostel. On the first day, I woke up early because of the time difference, and when I had to go to the bathroom, I felt very self-conscious (even though no one seemed to care..), which stressed me out, but after getting used to it, it wasn't a big deal. However, if you want a hotel-like experience where everything is served to you, don’t even consider it. The accommodation is cheap, but towels, hair dryers, shampoo, earplugs, luggage storage, and coin lockers are all charged separately. Still, if you prepare in advance knowing this, it won't be too much of an issue. The shared kitchen is super useful, and there's a cheap supermarket just two seconds away, so it's nice to buy ingredients and cook. If you want to stay in the same room as foreign travelers and feel their culture or vibe, I highly recommend it. Everyone seems to value privacy and tries to be considerate of each other. You can also put blackout curtains on the beds, so you have your own space. There are cafes, bars, a shared kitchen, and a cafeteria, so you can use them comfortably. I was worried about the bathroom, but it was cleaner than the Korean guesthouse I stayed in before, and there was one in the six-person room. It's a European-style shower booth, so you have to close the door well while using it to avoid splashing water on the next person. There's also a warm chatbot that you can access through the QR code on my bed locker, which answers all questions in real time, making things convenient. It answers various questions very intelligently! The hostel also has organized programs (like karaoke nights and free walking tours), but just like Europeans, they won't guide you step by step, so you can freely look into and participate in what you want. The reception staff are also friendly! You just need to be careful of drunken American blacks who can be rowdy (they're a bit uncomfortable). The buildings around the accommodation are also beautiful, and it's safe to walk around late at night since it’s in the city center. If you have an open mind for a college student-style backpacking experience, I recommend it!
Thanks so much, Sora. I loved reading how the walking tour set the tone for your Vienna adventure, and we’ll pass the shout-out to Uncle Charles. It sounds like you made the most of the kitchen, the supermarket next door, and the little privacy perks like the bed curtains. We understand that sharing a space can feel a bit cramped at first, especially with jet lag. Sorry it felt awkward. For a bit more comfort, every room has its own bathroom, and if it ever gets busy there are extra toilets in the building too. Regarding equipment: lockers do incur a fee, but they’re entirely yours to use so your belongings stay secure before check-in or after check-out. And if you’re travelling light, we have the basics at reception, like shampoo, body wash and toothbrush kits. Hairdryers can be borrowed as well, subject to availability, with a simple card deposit that is released when the item is returned in good condition. Thanks again for highlighting the vibe and our team. We’re all about making

It was clean and close to the train station. It's essential to bring your own soap products. I went in May, and the room temperature was fine with the provided bedding. Once, when I returned after going to another city, there was only a mixed dorm available when making a reservation, but upon consultation, they made arrangements for me to stay in the women's dorm. I don't think that can always be done, but I appreciated that thoughtfulness.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback — great to hear you found everything clean and the location convenient 🙂 For context, if you ever need toiletries such as shampoo or shower gel, reception has them available for a small charge. And if anything about your bed or room isn’t suitable — bunk choice, dorm type, or a flatmate issue — our reception is available at any hour to help arrange a change where possible. We appreciate you staying with us and hope to see you again. Best wishes, Your Wombat’s Naschmarkt Team

It's a 5-minute walk to Bin Central Station and a 5-minute walk to the shopping mall, so it's convenient. The accommodation is clean and the kitchen is spacious, making it good for cooking. You have to store your luggage in a paid locker before check-out, which I think was about 4.5 euros for a large one for 6 hours. However, you might feel some stress if you get a noisy roommate.
Thank you, we really appreciate your review 😊 Best wishes, your Wombat's Naschmarkt Team

“A cost-effective hotel.”
The women's only room had strict security, which made me feel safe. The room had a toilet and shower. There was also a hairdryer, and it was clean. In the evening, it got crowded, and there was a waiting time. Each bed had a fan and a safe, which was nice. Towels are available for a fee. If you want to store your luggage before check-in or after check-out, you can use a paid locker; a large locker costs 5€ for 12 hours. For shorter periods or smaller lockers, it’s even cheaper, so it's quite convenient. It was also close to the station and inexpensive, so I would like to use it again.
Thank you, we really appreciate your review 😊 Best wishes, your Wombat's Naschmarkt Team
